On August 19, 2013, Judge Jeffrey S. White, U.S. District Court Judge, Northern District of California, preliminarily approved a nationwide settlement covering Trex composite decking, railing and fencing sold to consumers on and after August 1, 2004. The settlement will provide three tiers of relief to address mold and mildew growth or spotting. Kim D. Stephens of Tousley Brain Stephens PLLC represented the class in the settlement.
UPDATE: Final approval was granted on December 16, 2013.
