PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Amy supports attorneys in multiple practice areas, including class actions, corporate litigation, condemnations, and corporate maintenance.
Her responsibilities include client communication, fact gathering, e-discovery management, legal document drafting, and cite checking.
Prior to joining Tousley Brain Stephens, Amy provided litigation support for a wide range of complex matters including commercial litigation, professional malpractice, intellectual property, mass torts, product liability, consumer protection, and securities fraud. Her experience includes both plaintiff and defense work and supporting attorneys through trials in state and federal courts.
Additionally, Amy has worked on several pro bono matters. Her work included helping the ACLU with a police excessive force matter; contributing to juvenile justice reform efforts to prevent 14 and 15 year-olds from being tried and sentenced as adults; working with Lawyers for Good Government on reproductive rights and health equity; and through the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, preparing and submitting a petition for a U-visa for a victim of violent crime.
She has worked as a paralegal in Washington state for more than 25 years.
