PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Joan’s practice focuses on a range of civil litigation matters in both state and federal court.
She has represented individuals and companies in a wide range of matters involving professional liability, trade secrets, healthcare, property, and commercial business disputes.
Joan began her career in California at a small law firm where she practiced criminal defense and served as an attorney on the federal CJA panel. Before joining Tousley Brain Stephens, Joan worked as an associate at Byrnes Keller Cromwell, LLP.
While in law school, Joan served on the Moot Court Honors Board and was a member of the mock trial competition teams.
