Real Estate & Business Transactional Associate / 5 Years minimum experience

Tousley Brain Stephens PLLC, a Seattle firm with a national reputation for solving complex problems and winning cases, seeks an associate attorney with a minimum of 5 years of significant and sophisticated commercial real estate and business transactional experience.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Legal oversight, analysis, strategic direction, negotiation, due diligence, and document drafting, reviewing and revising for commercial real estate sales, acquisitions, leases, and financings
  • Complex title and survey reviews
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and revising construction contracts, loan documents, easements, and operating agreements for our real estate clients
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and revising ordinary course business contracts, stock and asset purchase agreements, and private placement memoranda, as well as handling closings for various sales and purchases

Qualified candidates will possess superior writing and analytical skills, the ability to perform complex legal research, and have experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate and business transactions alone, or with limited supervision.
