If you received debt collection calls from medical testing company Quest Diagnostics or American Medical Collection Agency, your financial data, Social Security number, and medical data may have been exposed to criminal hackers.

To collect on alleged debts, Quest gave American Medical Collection Agency the sensitive personal data of 11.9 million patients.  Quest announced on June 3 that this data was exposed to identity theft and other financial crimes.  Intruders had access American Medical Collection Agency’s computer network between August 1, 2018 and March 30, 2019.

On June 20, 2019 Tousley Brain Stephens filed a class action complaint against Quest for their negligent handling of your data.
