On March 2, 2020 Judge Michael H. Simon, U.S. District Court, District of Oregon, granted final approval of the class action settlement against Premera arising out of a 2015 data breach. TBS attorneys Kim Stephens and Jason Dennett were lead counsel for the Class. Under the $74,000,000 settlement, Premera agreed to pay $32,000,000 to the Settlement Class and spend $42,000,000 for enhanced data security. In addition to cash payments, all Settlement Class Members will be eligible to enroll in two years of Credit Monitoring and Insurance Services.
