Hyundai Shattering Sunroof Class Action
Glenn v. Hyundai, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Appointed class counsel to represent a nationwide class of people who purchased Hyundai vehicles with panoramic sunroofs. Plaintiffs alleged the sunroofs were prone to spontaneous shattering. The settlement, which extended the warranty for the class, provided repair costs and $200 cash for anyone who experienced shattering, and a $1,000 trade in allowance to anyone who no longer wished to own a vehicle with a panoramic sunroof, was valued at over $30 million.
