Kim Stephens to Discuss Settlement Strategies at 15th Annual Class Action Conference

On Friday May 10, Kim Stephens will discuss Settlement Strategies at the 15th Annual Conference on Litigating Class Actions. The conference is sponsored by Law Seminars International.

Kim will focus on procedures and best practices for negotiating class action settlements, as well as the standards of judicial review for approval of these settlements with a focus on the recent amendments to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23. The presentation will also cover hot button issues such as reversion, cy pres distributions, attorneys’ fees, and service awards to class representatives.

Kim will be joined by a diverse panel that includes the Honorable Thomas McPhee, the Honorable Ronald B. Leighton, Gretchen Cappio, and Emily Brubaker Harris.
