Professional Experience

Leaf specializes in complex commercial litigation. She has significant federal and state court experience, and has represented individual and corporate clients in disputes involving breach of contract, commercial fraud, business torts, misappropriation, trade secrets, and intellectual property.

Leaf also devotes time to pro bono work. She has represented Mexican transgender asylum-seekers in the Los Angeles Immigration Court and obtained dismissal of copyright and trademark infringement claims against a playwright in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

In law school, Leaf was a Legal Writing and Rhetoric Dean’s Fellow for the Multicultural and International Student Organization and a member of the American University Law Review. Her team also placed two years in a row at the Niagara International Law Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining the firm, Leaf was an associate in the Los Angeles office of McKool Smith Hennigan, P.C.
