Jake’s practice includes a variety of commercial litigation matters. He has represented clients in federal and state courts in matters ranging from real property, breach of contract, and intellectual property disputes to class actions, antitrust cases, and business torts. He also provides pre-litigation counseling to clients in a variety of areas, including easement, boundary, and other real property disputes. In addition to first- and second-chairing multiple cases to verdict in state and federal courts, Jake has mediated and arbitrated a wide variety of other disputes.
While in law school, Jake completed the Mandela Institute’s Global Justice Advocacy Program at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and worked with a trial court in Uganda. Before law school, Jake was an intern for both a member of the Scottish Parliament and a United States senator.
